About me

Hi!

My name is Rachel Kennedy and I recently finished my first novel, ‘I Know You’.

I began writing ‘I Know You’ after graduating from college. I studied acting and performance for two years, which I loved, and would one day love to go back to. Drama has been important to me since I was a child and I’m so glad I chose to study it at college – I met so many great people and made some lifelong friends.

After graduating, I decided it was time to give writing a go. It’s a pastime I’ve always been very fond of, and I’ve always wanted to write a book – I’ve just never got round to finishing one. The closest I ever got was when I was about twelve; I wrote a story about a snowman who came to life and took his friend Katie on an adventure to the North Pole. I did drawings for it and everything, my dad scanned them and I made my own cover! Sadly, I think it got deleted somewhere along the line.

I’m now working on my next book, and I have a few ideas for future projects. Hopefully at some point I’ll be able to put them all down on paper. Plenty to keep me busy for now, though!
